Sudeshna Sen is an urban designer and has worked on a range of multi-scalar master-planning projects in the US and in Asia. Her focus has been on mixed-use developments for both public and private sector clients.

Apart from her practice, interested in the application of technology and mapping tools to investigate the intersection of design and policy. Her academic research work has included policy analysis and data visualization on the Gender Mobility Planning, Smart Cities Movement in India, and agrarian urbanism in China. She instructs in online courses through AUDA Academy introducing urban design concepts and digital techniques to students and professionals who are curious about the field.

Originally from Kolkata, India, Sudeshna received her B.Arch from Illinois Institute of Technology and her Master of Architecture in Urban Design (with Distinction) from Harvard Graduate School of Design.  In her personal time, she is interested in engaging in the urban discourse in India through both educational and research pursuits
